Franceswas born July 27, 1925 in Fresno, CAto Rena and Cyril Blackwell.  She passed away on March 27, 2008 in Harlingen, Texas.
She married Gilbert Wells in 1943, and lived in Salinas, CA until 1962.  They moved to Lake County, CAand continued to raise their family.  Francesretired from Lakeport Elementary as a teacher after 20 years.  After retirement in 2004 Frances moved to Texas with her husband and 2 daughters and became an active member of St. Albans Episcopal Church and a member of TOPS 710 TX.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Rena & Cyril Blackwell; her beloved husband, Gil Wells; sister Lea White; nephew, Michael White; and cousin, David Hoppock.
Survived by children, Trish Walkhoff (husband Hans), Kathleen Wells all of Harlingen, TX, Keith Lloyd Wells (wife Marcia), Ken Wells (wife Lydia) all of Lake County, CA; three grandsons, six great grandchildren, many family member and loving friends.
A memorial Service will be held at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Harlingen, TX on April 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Remains will be inurned privately at Kelseyville Cemetery.
