Lake Jackson/Harlingen, TX:
Pauline Nixon, 84, went to be with out Heavenly Father, family and friends on December 27th at her home peacefully with family by her side.
She was originally from Harlingen, TX, having spent the last 18 years in Lake Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Larlu Elmore, husband Lester Nixon, and son Darrel Nixon.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother (Nanny), and great grandmother.
She was an amazing homemaker who loved cooking and sewing for her family and friends. She spent the last 10 years volunteering in all kinds of areas at Helping Hands and Hearts Hospice. She touched the hearts of all of the staff and patients.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Milton Nixon, Sherwyn Moore (Norman), and Barbara Landry (David).
Her grandchildren; Carl Nixon (Will VanLiew), Jodi Patulea (Greg), John Clayton III (Catherine Anne), Jason Nixon (Farrah), Dana Clayton (Angie Tuttle), Clinton Nixon, Daniel Nixon (Tracy Lynn), June Landry, and Erin Landry.
Her great-grandchildren; Gregory James Patulea, Micheal Patulea, Emma Catherine Clayton, John Clayton IV, Matthew Nixon and Jalynn Nixon.
Along with the many wonderful friends she made throughout her life.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons.
On January 7th, Visitation and Viewing will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home in Harlingen, TX, from 1-3 p.m.  Graveside Service will be held at 4 pm at Harlingen-Combes Cemetery with Royal Jacobs presiding.
A Celebration of her Life will be held in Lake Jackson, TX, at Christ Lutheran Church on Sunday January 15th from 2-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Pauline wanted donations made to Helping Hands and Hearts Hospice, 412 Plantation Dr. Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
