Frances V. Hoffman, 90, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2010 in Quinton, Oklahoma.
Frances was born July 2, 1919 in Anna, Illinois to William and Maggie Verble. She attended high school in Anna, Illinois and along with her husband; B.W. owned and operated Dixie Cream Donut Shop in Harlingen. She was a member of the Baptist Church in San Benito, Rio Hondo and Harlingen. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B.W. Hoffman.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Bennie Jean Funkhouser of Eufaula, OK; son Robert Hoffman of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Jay Hoffman, Anton Hoffman, Robin Bryant, Jason Krueger and Bryan Altstatt; and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010, 10 a.m., at the Mont Meta Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Gene Horton officiating.
