Forest Lee Maddy, 74, passed away on September 9, 2009, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan (Redmond) Maddy; his children Faith Maddy, Brian Maddy, and Mark Maddy; his grandchildren Kaylee Davis Maddy and Ethan Maddy; and thirteen nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Lynn Maddy; his mother Elma Maddy; father Max Maddy; brothers, Gerald Maddy and Francis Maddy; and sister Lois Boone.
Family will receive visitors from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Unity Church in Brownsville with services at 4:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Valley Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Mechanicsburg Cemetery in Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or March of Dimes.
