Fay Reagan Young passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014. She was born in Port Lavaca, Texas to Mark and May Mullinix and moved to San Benito with her family soon thereafter.
She married J.C. Reagan in 1936 and they moved to Harlingen. She was a longtime member of the 8th and Harrison Church of Christ in Harlingen.
Fay is survived by a son, Bill Reagan of Alexandria, VA; three step-daughters, Sally Thomas of Arlington, VA, Coranne Young of Corpus Christi, TX and Lueron Erickson of Powderly, TX; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.C. Reagan in 1964; a son, Mark Reagan in 1991; and her husband, M. Day Young in 1995.
Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, July 25, 2014 at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 26, 2014 with Jake Vincent officiating. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
In lieu of flowers those desiring to do so may make memorial donations to the Sunny Glen Children’s Home, PO Box 1373, San Benito, TX 78586.
The family would like to express special appreciation to her longtime caregiver and friend, Ofelia Villarreal.
