Eusevio H. Lopez Jr. , was called to be with our lord and savior on Wednesday, the 11th of May 2016. He was sixty- six years old. Born on the 27th of July 1949 in San Benito, Texas to his parents Eusevio Lopez and Teresa Herrera Lopez.
Eusevio , served his country for six years as a U.S. Marine. He fought in the Vietnam War during the years of 1968 -1974.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents Eusevio H. Lopez and Theresa Herrera Lopez, Brother Ernesto H. Lopez, and sister Elena Garza.
Survivors include his loving wife Masria Lopez, his daughters Norma Cavazos, Alicesen N. Lopez, Connie Lopez, Vanessa Guzman, his son Michael Ray Torres. His grandchildren Michael Ray Torres Jr. , Esai Torres, Mariah Torres, Elijah Cavazos, Elisa Cavazos, Jackson C. Lopez. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Emilio (Leticia)Lopez, Edelmiro H. Lopez, Esteban(Mary Frances) Lopez, Edward (Gracie)Lopez,Elivia H. Lopez, and Rufina Lopez
Visiting hours are on Sunday, the 15th of May 2016, beginning at 3:00 pm in the afternoon and concluding at 9:00 pm at night, with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm Sunday evening. Monday, the 16th of May 2016, beginning at 3:00pm in the afternoon and concluding at 9:00pm at night , with a service at 7:00 pm Monday evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Tuseday, the 17th of May 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the morning at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will then follow to Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 South Inspiration Road, Mission,Tx.
