Esther Robles Montalvo
January 25, 1925 — May 16, 2012
San Benito, TX – Esther Robles Montalvo, 87, our dearly beloved mother has departed this earth on May 16, 2012 to join in the presence of our Lord.
Our mother will be dearly missed. Everybody that crossed her path received a special blessing. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Her interest included spending time with family and reading her bible.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo; and 2 children, Jose Luis and Jaime.
Esther is survived by her 5 sons, Alfredo (Ninfa), Jesus (Hilda), Russell (Gloria), Eli (Emma), and Richard (Lisa); her 5 daughters, Nydia Ruiz, Esther (Robert) Plata, Marisela Montalvo, Irma Montalvo, and Alma (Sam) Villarreal; she leaves behind 30 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Ruben Quiroz, Jr., Hank Moreno IV, Homer Quiroz, Jose Luis Quiroz, Mario Montalvo and Richard Ruiz II; honorary pallbearers will be Erik Plata, Jesus Alfredo Montalvo, Russell Montalvo, Mark Plata, Andrew Montalvo, John Johnston, Gabriel Montalvo, and Jaydyn Montalvo.
