Ermila Mendoza, 69, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Oscar Aguirre, 2nd husband Samuel Cavazos; her son Jose Aguirre, granddaughters Kassandra Cavazos, Lauren Cavazos; her brother Armando Mendoza.
She is survived by her children, Oscar (Martina) Aguirre, Jr, Juan (Criselda)Aguirre, Juana Aguilar, Solengia (Jose) Aguirre, Maria Luisa (Freddy) Sanchez, Samuel (Elizabeth) Cavazos Jr, Albino (Veronica) Aguirre; her siblings Maria Vasquez, Manuel Vasquez, Albino Mendoza, Juanita Mendoza; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and her longtime friend and caregiver Virginia Garcia.
Visitation will be held from 1p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 & Sunday, March 2, 2014 with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home. Mass at Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
