Elizabeth M. Rausch, currently lived at Golden Palms, Harlingen, TX and passed away on October 1, 2013. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Michael. Betty left behind 4 children, James, Carol, Linda and Janet. She also left 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Betty was born on August 4, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pa, enjoyed many friendships, her German Heritage activities and life in the city. She married Michael, moved to New Jersey and together raised their family. Upon retirement, they moved to McAllen, TX and spent many happy years enjoying Valley life and volunteering in the local community.
Betty enjoyed living life, laughed often and heartedly, and loved so very much.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Golden Palms, 2102 W. Treasure Hills Blvd. in the Texas Room, 6th floor at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Madre, 190 Port Road, Port Isabel, TX 78578.
