Elizabeth Casey, 94, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at her residence in Harlingen.
Elizabeth was born in Canada on August 27, 1915 to John and Bridgette Casey. She moved to San Benito in 1923 and was employed with S.W. Bell Telephone as an operator for 32 years.
In 1989, Elizabeth retired and moved to the Golden Palms Retirement Center in Harlingen. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Harlingen.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her two sisters, Catherine Casey and Mary Oyer and brother, Tom Casey.
Funeral services will be held St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 11:00 AM, Friday, March 26, 2010. Burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Those desiring to do so may make memorial donations to the charity of choice.
