Harlingen, TX –Elisha E. Elizondo was called to be with our Lord on Sunday, the 2nd of October 2016. Born on the 8th of March 1984 in Harlingen,Texas to his parents Oscar and Juanita Elizondo.
Elisha graduated from The University of Texas Pan American and The University of Texas at Austin with his Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist for VBMC in Harlingen for 8 years. He also had great passion for bowling, disc golf, and working out. He took great joy in outdoor and indoor activities with his young son Ezra.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother Juanita G. Elizondo, brother Joshua Elizondo, uncle George Gonzales, maternal grandparents Juan and Lupita Gonzales, and his paternal grandparents Monico and Margarita Elizondo.
Survivors include his wife Susana Patricia Elizondo, son Ezra Elisha Elizondo, father Oscar Elizondo, cousins Lorena Garcia, Laura Vel Gouldsmith, Rick Garcia, Lysandra Garcia, Victoria Salato, Elizabeth Reza, Georgie Gonzales, Kirby Fernandez, Marc Fernandez, Danielle Gonzales, Jason Elizondo, Brian Elizondo, and Sara Marie Elizondo(Murray).
Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Garcia, Marc Fernandez, Danny Gonzales, Jaime Juarez, Armando Barrera, and Eric Sanchez. Honorary bearers will be Jason Elizondo and Brian Elizondo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, the 7th of October 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, the 8th of October 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Officiating funeral mass will be Rev. Ignacio Luna assisted by Deacon Manuel Sanchez. Interment will follow to Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.
