Elisa Longoria Chavez

Elisa Longoria Chavez of San Benito, Texas went to be with our Lord on September 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving Children, whom she devoted her life to.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Chavez, Sr.; her parents, Arturo and Maxima Longoria, brother, Ernesto Longoria, sisters, Emilia Falcon, Elida Garcia and Esther Garcia, son-in-law, Mario Contreras, Sr. and her first born, Lupita.  She is survived by her children, Pablo Chavez, Jr., Noemi Contreras, Emma (Rosendo) Garcia, Reynaldo Chavez, Sr., Dora (Juan) Trevino, Elisa (Javier) De La Rosa, Guadalupe Chavez, David Chavez and Norma Linda Chavez.  She loved visits from her 18 Grandchildren, 39 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings, Abelardo (Juanita) Longoria, Elidia Morales, Manuela Guevarra, Emiliano Longoria, and Maria Luisa Longoria.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, drawing, knitting and more importantly showering her loved ones with love and gifts she made for them.
Visitation will be held Saturday, the 23th of September 2016, beginning at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. within the San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.  Funeral Services will be Sunday, September 25th at 10:00 a.m. at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Cemetery.
