Elida G. Trevino

Elida G. Treviño, 92, peacefully passed away on April 7, 2023.  She was born August 17, 1930 to the late Federico and Juana Gonzalez in San Benito, Texas.

Elida was preceded in death by her parents, Federico and Juana Gonzalez, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.

Left to treasure her memory is her husband Porfirio Treviño, Sr.; her children Velma Treviño and Porfirio Treviño, Jr.; her grandchildren David Leija, Jr.,  Rey Leija (Rachel), Crystalina E. Sanchez and Akalina N. Villarreal (Ruben); and her great grandchildren Gabriel, Matthew, Noah, and Mia Joy Villarreal.

Visitation will take place Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.  A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Following the mass, Elida will be laid to rest at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
