San Benito, TX: Elida G. Perez, 72, of San Benito, TX passed away Saturday, August 6, 2011 at her residence in San Benito.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a sister.
Elida is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Enrique Perez; her children, Connie (Vicente) Moreno, Jr., Gilberto (Mary) Perez, Sr., Luis (Alma) Perez, Sr., Dora (Michael) Perez, and Adrian Perez, Sr.; along with 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. for a 12:00 P.M. Catholic Funeral Service at St. Benedict Catholic Church with Deacon Manuel Sanchez as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Luis Perez, Sr., Luis Perez, Jr., Vicente Moreno, Adrian Perez, Sr., Adrian Perez, Jr., and Gilberto Perez, Jr.; honorary pallbearers will be Michael Perez and Alberto Perez.
