San Benito, TX – Elida R. Munoz, 76, of San Benito, TX passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio G. Munoz.
Elida is survived by her children, Juan (Alicia) Munoz, Rosa M. Munoz (Arturo Bujanos), Jose Luis (Nora) Munoz, Leticia M. Ramirez, an Armando (Christina) Munoz; her brothers and sisters, Ovidio Rodriguez, Aurora Garza, Enedelia Cantu, Mario Rodriguez, and Benjamin Rodrigez, Jr.; her grandchildren, David Munoz, Louie Munoz, Yvette Elizondo, Armando Munoz, Jr., Leo Ramirez, Jr., Joe Manuel Munoz, Christopher Munoz, and Andrew Bujanos; and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria.
Pallbearers will be Juan Antonio Munoz, Arturo Bujanos, Armando R. Munoz, Armando Munoz, Jr., Jose Luis Munoz, and Louie Munoz; honorary pallbearers will be David Javier Munoz, and Andrew Bujanos.
