San Benito, TX- Eleazar Perez entered into eternal rest Friday, January 13, 2012 at the age of 79 in Harlingen, Texas.
Mr. Perez is preceded in death by his parents, Marcos Perez and Petra Fuentes Perez; brothers, Roberto Perez, Israel Perez, Guadalupe Perez, and Juan del Toro; and sister, Consuelo Fernandez.
He is survived by his wife, Eva G. Perez; his children, Rosalinda (Carlos) Campos, Lillian (Douglas) Weaver, Belinda (Richard) Crites, and Eleazar (Anita) Perez, Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer Campos, Christopher Campos, Wendy (Michael) Maldonado, Savannah (Richard) Esquivel, Douglas Anthony Weaver, Tracy Crites, Alyssa Crites, Eleazar Perez III, and Clarissa M. Perez; great-grandchildren, Mikey Maldonado, Evan Maldonado, and Richard Nathaniel Esquivel; brother, Leonel (Linda) Perez; and his sister, Viola (Victor) Villalobos.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:30 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral procession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. for a 12:00 P.M. Funeral Mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 205.
