Elba Georgina Reyes

Elba Georgina Reyes, 59, of San Benito, Texas entered into Eternal Life on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.  Ms. Reyes was a lifelong resident of San Benito; she was a selfless, caring, loving, devoted mother and grandmother.  She was also considered an excellent host, cook, enjoyed making crafts and loved spending time with her family.

Elba was a wonderful caregiver to her son, Uriel Reyes who precedes her in death along with her father, Teodoro Castillo; sister, Maria Nieves “Alma” Castillo and aunt Rosita Castillo.

Elba is survived by her mother, Maria Santos Castillo; her son Hilario (Martha) Reyes; her daughter, Georgina Guzman; her daughter-in-law Wendoly Reyes and her grandchildren Gianna Guzman, Uriel Reyes, Jr., Daniela Reyes, and Julian Reyes. She is also survived by her brothers, Domingo (Cecilia) Castillo, Teodoro (Rosa) Castillo, Jose Castillo, Ramon Castillo, her sisters Rosa (Jesus) Aguirre, Cora (Alejandro) Liceaga, Hilda (Jacinto) De Hoyos, Paty (Jose Angel) Cardona, Cleme (Rigo) Cruz and many loving nephews and nieces.

The family would like to give special thanks to all of their family and friends that were there for their mother during the good and bad times.  God Bless All of You Always.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 with a Rosary to be held at 3:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at San Benito Funeral Home.
