Raymondville, TX. - Edward “Eddie” Perez, age 43, passed away on Monday December 1, 2014.
Eddie was born in Lubbock, Texas on November 25, 1971. His parents are Sylvia Sloss Schroeder who resides in Harlingen and the late Armando Perez.
Eddie attended La Feria public schools and Texas State Technical College.
He was preceded in death by his father, Armando Perez, his niece Christina Marie Agado, his maternal grandparents Jesse W. Sloss Sr and Marie R. Gavito Sloss, and paternal grandparents Felidel and Pepita Perez. Eddie is also preceded in death by his grandmother Tencha Sloss.
He is survived by his spouse Andrea, daughter Janial and his son Edward Jr, his mother Sylvia Sloss Schroeder, his sisters Melinda Agado of Harlingen, Melissa (Lonnie) Garcia, Jessica (Daniel) Ramos both of Corpus Christi. Also, survived by nieces and nephews Ricky Agado Jr, Amanda (Ramsey) Barrera, and daughters Ayla Christina and Mila Christina of Katy Tx., Anyssa and Liam Garcia, Daniel, Kaitlyn, and Michael Ramos all of Corpus Christi.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. today Friday December 5, 2014, with a recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for seven o’clock this evening within the San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. for a 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St Anthony Catholic Church, 1102 East Van Buren St, Harlingen, TX 78550. Officiating will be Rev. Patrick Seitz.
Pallbearers will be Joe Cavazos, Bano Cavazos, Ignacio Gomez III, Ricky Agado Jr, Daniel Ramos Jr, and Liam Garcia.
All Services will conclude at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
