Edna M. Horneber

Edna was born to Leonard and Ethel Sharp October 3, 1918, in Mississippi County Arkansas.  Her parents, two brothers and loving husband of 51 years, Donald, preceded her in death. She is survived by 3 children:  Dr. Michelle Abrego (Chuey), Harlingen, Texas; Pastor Adam Horneber (Cindy) Lakeside, Arizona; and Mr. Michael Horneber (Irene) Davidson, North Carolina. She has been blessed with 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abiding Savior Lutheran Church Weslaco, Texas, or Spear Home Harlingen, Texas.

A memorial service will be held Monday May 28, 2018, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Weslaco, Texas, at 6:30 PM.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Brian O’Donnell, Valley Baptist Hospice Team, Reverend Nathan Wendorf and Reverend Joel Sauer for their love and support at this difficult time.
