Edelmiro Tamez

San Benito, TX : Edelmiro Tamez, 64, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War; he was a licensed electrician and a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Engineers along with being a member of the Elks Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Tamez.
Edelmiro is survived by his mother, Candelaria R. Tamez; his brothers, Raul (Irma) Tamez, Armando (Blanca) Tamez, Oscar (Norma) Tamez and Rolando (Josie) Tamez; and a sister, Irma (Waldo) Chapa; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park .
