Earl E. Dugan, 75, passed away on July 24, 2009 at Harlingen Medical Center.
Earl was born September 7, 1933 in Colver, PA to Francis Earl and Mary Dugan.  He had an Associates Degree in business and retired from the FAA as an air traffic controller.   Earl proudly served his country in the United State Air Force and was an active member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.  He was also a member of the American Legion, Harlingen Elks Lodge #1889 and member of the Citizen Police Academy.  Earl was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and enjoyed golfing, swimming and being in the hot tub every day.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Earl and Mary Dugan; sisters, Kathryn McIntire and Darlene Leamer.
Earl is survived by his wife, Marlene Dugan; children, Shirley (Larry) Hall, Joyce (Paul) Tsambarlis, Donna (Tim) Adair and Edward (Rebecca) Dugan; step-children: Sheryl (Jim) Erickson and Gary (Katie) Weihl; brother, Charles (Sandy) Dugan; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 27, 2009, 3 p.m., at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1406 Austin St. in Harlingen.  Services will conclude at the church.
For those desiring to do so, memorial donations may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1406 Austin St., Harlingen, TX  78550 or a charity of choice.
