Dorothy Eleanor Leffelman, 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Harlingen, TX.
Eleanor was born April 14, 1928 in Morgan County, IL to John Eugene Cooper and Essie Pearl Roach Cooper. She attended Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL. Eleanor was a member of the First Christian Church in Harlingen, TX and enjoyed playing the piano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Eugene and Essie Pearl Cooper and her brothers, Donald Cooper and Maurice Cooper.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Earl Leroy Leffelman, Jr.; children, Susan Kay Morse of Phoenix, AZ, Jill Pressler and husband, Tom of Germantown, TN, Earl (Tad) Leroy Leffelman III of Germantown, TN; grandchildren, Aaron Morse, Jason Morse, Rachel Pressler Randall, Travis Pressler; great grandchildren, Robert Randall and Zachary Randall; and brothers, Loren Cooper and Lyndell Cooper.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010, 2 p.m., at the First Christian Church, 421 S. 13th St., Harlingen, TX with Rev. Mark Coppins officiating.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, 421 S. 13th St., Harlingen, TX 78550.
