Dorothy A. Dawson
Born on July 12, 1925 in Neosho, MO and moved to Progresso, TX at 3 months old. She considered herself a Texan. Dorothy graduated from Weslaco High School in 1943. She and Clifford (Jack) married on February 1, 1945. After WWII ended, Dot was able to join Jack in Hawaii where she worked for the Navy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Charles Dawson; parents Nell Agnus Wager Shull and Jessie Earl Shull; siblings Arthur Victor Shull (Roberta), Helen St. John (Joe), Julia Tullis (William) and Barbara Murphy (Matt).
Dot is survived by sons Darrell Charles Dawson (Marsha) and Randall Duane Dawson (Kathy); grandchildren Katie Dreslinski, Daniel Dawson, Pattie Jones, Debbie Jaimes, Sarah Dawson, and Michael Dawson; great grandchildren AJ Dreslinski, Sara Dreslinski, Xander Jaimes, and Mia Jaimes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Mont Meta Mausoleum in San Benito.
