Doris M. Rosselot, 83, passed away January 5, 2013 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito, Texas.
Doris was born March 8, 1929 in Los Angeles, CA to Abraham O. and Opal Ann McQuown. She was a high school graduate and then married Frank F. Rosselot on March 6, 1949. Doris enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, baking, plastic canvas crafts, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank F. Rosselot; father, Abraham O. McQuown; mother, Opal Ann Smith McQuown; and brothers, Noel McQuown, Abraham O. McQuown Jr. and James McQuown.
Doris is survived by her children, Kathy Russell of Los Fresnos, TX, John Rosselot of El Segundo, CA, William Rosselot of Riverside, CA; grandchildren, Amanda Russell of Los Fresnos, TX, Richard Rosselot, Jason Rosselot, Isaac Rosselot all of Riverside, CA; sisters, Mary McQuown of Harlingen, TX, Betty Pixler of Pantego, TX; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 10, 2013, 1 p.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with Chaplin Oscar Garcia officiating.
Burial will be held at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA at a later date.
The family would like to extend many thanks to Canterbury Gardens, Odyssey Hospice and Sunshine Haven for all their help.
