Dora Alicia Villarreal

Dora Alicia Villarreal, 71, entered eternal rest on February 25, 2023. She was born July 14, 1951 in Brownsville, Texas to the late Juan Martinez and Juana Quiñonez Martinez.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Samuel Mata; and her sister, Josefina Arambul.

Left to treasure Dora’s memory is the father of her children, Juan Villarreal; her children, Hermelinda Peña (Enrique), Jorge Luis Villarreal, Guillermina Jones (Jesse), Nora Elia Villarreal (Nick Lugo), Brenda Lizeth Muñiz (Juan Carlos); grandchildren, Kandie Espinosa (Brian), Enrique Peña Jr., Eduardo Peña, Alexandra Corkill (Keith), April Mata, Orlando Muñiz (Rebecca), Oziel Garcia, Leila Muñiz, Armando Villarreal; and seven great-grandchildren. Dora is also survived by her brothers, Jesús Martinez and Martin Martinez.

Dora’s family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, March 2, 2023 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Deacon Juan Jasso, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
