Donella Riddle, 86, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Veranda Rehab and Health Care Center in Harlingen.
Donella was born on May 21, 1925 in Christopher, Illinois to Thomas and Mary Anne Smith. She was a former Dental hygienist and later owner of a Kwik Kopy Printing store with her husband in Burr Ridge, Illinois. She was a member of the Eastern Star and served as a Worthy Matron.
Donella is survived by her son, Jon (Nancy) Riddle; two grandsons, Brian (Shannon) Riddle and Kevin Riddle; and great granddaughter, Rae Riddle. She was preceded in death by lovingly husband, Roy Riddle after 62 years of marriage.
Visitation hours will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Donella’s life will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 11:00 AM, Monday, May 7, 2012 with Rev. David Mann officiating. Entombment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
