Donald Sidney White

Donald Sidney White, 85, passed away peacefully  surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Harlingen, Texas.  He was born to Earl and Vera White on October 29, 1938 in Brownsville, Texas.

Donald married  Pat Woods on January 23, 1960; they were married for 64 years. He was an employee of CPL and retired after 30 years.  Donald had a passion for tinkering on things.

Left to treasure Donald's memory is his loving wife, Pat White; his sons, Robert (Darla) White, Jim (Michelle) White, Gary (Tracy) White; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sisters, Earline Harris and Doris Westbrook (Bill); his sister-in-law, Bertha Woods; many nieces and nephews; his dog, Primo; and many friends and family living in the Valley.

The White family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home.
 
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel (the funeral service will be livestream: https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/index.php?data=MTcxMjAyOTY2ODMwMjcwMSZvbmVyb29tLWFkbWluJmNvcHlfbGluaw==).  Following the service, Donald will be laid to rest at Harlingen-Combes Cemetery.
