Donald N. Bullard, 84, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at Sunshine Haven in Olmito. He was a former resident of Arkansas and had been a resident of San Benito for the past 45 years.
Donald was born January 26, 1926 in Edom, Texas to Noah and Edith Bullard. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Coast Guard for 3 years and the U.S. Army for 3 years. He was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for over 35 years in Arkansas and Texas.
Donald is survived by a son, Butch Frazier, daughter, Jackie Parker, brother, Tommy Bullard, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva L. Chafin Bullard in 2009.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 5, 2010 with Rev. Chris Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Visitation hours will be from 12:00 PM till service time at the funeral home.
