Don Allan Schuepbach is now sailing on the ships of Heaven joining his father, mother, cousin, and other loved ones that wait to greet him. He was born and raised in San Juan, Texas, attended PSJA and graduated in 1967.
Don treated his friends to special meals, as he loved cooking and had a gift for melding foods and flavors.
He received his charter captain’s license and operated “On Point Charters”. He enjoyed fishing, bowling (3 – 300 games), darts, and just about every game and sport you can play. He also loved a wide range of music.
Surviving are his loving wife, Rhonda; brother, Ken Schuepbach (Kristi) of San Antonio, TX; nephew, Jack Schuepbach of San Antonio, TX; stepdaughter, Stacy Conway Steen (Jim) of St. Louis, MO; two bonus grandchildren, Jimmy and Kaitlyn Steen of St. Louis, MO; a son and two grandchildren; and so many loving friends.
Rhonda would especially like to thank Cheryl Dodson, PA of Rio Hondo Medicine; Dr. Nabeel Sarhill, MD of Texas Oncology; Dr. David E. Yardley, MD of Harlingen Heart Clinic; the Fourth Floor staff at Harlingen Medical Center, and Kindred Hospice.
