Diana Becerra

Diana Becerra, 66, went to be with the Lord on December 24, 2018.  Diana was born on April 27, 1952 in San Benito, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Sarah Becerra, and her sister Lucia Barrera.

Diana is survived by her daughter Cynthia Rae (Juan) Olivarez:  sister Cynthia (Miguel) Gonzales: grandchildren Michael, Sarah, Jayson, and Lyla Olivarez: Nieces Laura Beth (David) Mertz, Emily Gonzales: Nephew Frank (Jackie) Barrera:  Great Nieces Bryanah Barrera and Sonia Mertz.

Diana adored spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved baking, especially decorating cakes, sewing and working on her crafts.  Diana spent the last eighteen years as Office Manager for the Channel Industries Mutual Aid (CIMA) in Deer Park, Texas and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the organization.  Prior to her working at CIMA she worked at Texas Southmost College/University of Texas Brownsville, Texas.

The family would like to give special recognition to Dr. Chen and the staff at Tuscany Village, Pearland, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and funeral services at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 29th at San Benito Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Interment will be immediately following at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
