Dewell Maurice Richardson, Jr., 78, passed away on January 23, 2013 at his residence.
Dewell was born October 14, 1935 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Dewell M. Richardson and Wilma Grace Richardson Gibbons. He attended North Little Rock High School and the North Little Rock University. Dewell proudly served his country with the U.S. Army as a Major during Vietnam from March 1967 to December 1967 and from July 1968 to August 1969. He enjoyed reading, watching news, politics, and traveling.
Dewell is survived by his wife, Rosa Ma. Richardson; children, Robin, Linda, Brenda and Brayan Richardson; four grandchildren; one great grandson; and his brother, Henry L. Richardson.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 25, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013, 4 p.m., at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Floyd officiating.
