SAN BENITO, TX. – Demetria Garcia Guerrero, born on July 21, 1966 in Mexico, died on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Harlingen Medical Center. She was forty-nine years old.
Survivors include her loving husband, Benjamin Guerrero; children Monica (Felix) Arriaga, William (Priscilla) Asyn, Marina (Alfredo) Fuentes, and Benjamin Guerrero, Jr.; and grandchildren Julissa Guerrero, Daniel Arriaga, David Arriaga, and Jazlinn Arriaga.
Visiting hours are on Sunday, January 3, 2016, beginning at three o’clock in the afternoon and concluding at nine o’clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o’clock Sunday evening within the San Benito Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 West Highway 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 4, 2016 at ten o'clock in the morning, in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 24380 W. U.S. Highway 281, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Committal services will then follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
