DeLoris (Dee) C. Dickerson, 73, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at her residence in Harlingen, Texas.
Dee was born on January 29, 1935 in Hamilton, Missouri to Charles W. Bisel and Ida B. Townsend. She had been a resident of Harlingen since 2000 and will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Dee is survived by her husband, Jerry Dickerson; son, Dan Vanderpool; daughter, Andrea Gallegos; granddaughter, Desiree Velasquez; grandsons, Shawn Vanderpool, Jason Vanderpool, Darryl Gallegos and Chad Gallegos; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Vanderpool; siblings, Kathy Czosnyka, Dorothy Vantrese, Carol Gerber, Linda Bisel and Norm Bisel; and her loving caretakers.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home on Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
