Deanna M. Corbie

Born in Trinidad West Indies to parents Norman and Hilda Corbie on May 18, 1941, Deanna Marie Corbie was the youngest of eight children. She grew up in Trinidad before moving to New York City. She worked at Chase Manhattan Bank on Wall Street in New York City before moving to Harlingen Texas in 1990. While living in Harlingen, she worked as an educator in many ways teaching academic lessons and life lessons daily. She loved traveling and she was a devoted Catholic and a member of St. Anthony’s parish in Harlingen Texas. Deanna is survived by her three older brothers and multiple nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10am on Saturday, September 29, 2018, with burial services immediately following at Restlawn Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be at Buck Ashcraft Funeral parlor from 10am-9pm on Friday September 28, 2018. The rosary will be said at 7pm during the visitation.
