David Casas , Jr.

SAN BENITO, TX. – David Casas, Jr., age 53, passed away suddenly in Brownsville, Texas on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was a very loving, and caring person who will be dearly missed.
A graduate of San Benito High School, he was a football star as well as a basketball star. He loved everyone and was loved by many. His smile brought light to the darkness and his love was unconditional. He will be missed very much.
David is survived by his father, David Casas, Sr. and his step-mother, Kathy Casas; by his son David Ted Casas; daughter Deborah Renee Casas (Mario Reyes); and by his grandchildren Rihanna, Gabriella, Dean, and Dante. He is also survived by his brother Daniel Casas (Lydia), and by his sister, Sonia Nino (Joel Flores).
In accordance with Mr. Casas’ wishes, he will be cremated. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., with a recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for seven o’clock Wednesday evening. All services will conclude at the closure of the visitation.
