Darlene Lou Adair

February 27, 1949 — February 10, 2023

Darlene Lou Adair, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2023 after a short illness surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy. Darlene was a loving mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. Her love of life did not come to an end with her death.

Darlene was a lifelong resident of Harlingen, Texas and a graduate of Harlingen High School Class of 1967. She fulfilled her passion for helping care for children as the Calvary Christian Daycare director for many years. The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Darlene. She loved watching her grandsons play baseball, she was their biggest fan. Darlene was a dedicated, lifelong member of the Church of Christ.

Darlene is preceded in death by her sons, Chad Allen Roberts and Richard Allen Roberts; sister, Patsy Adair Bull; brother, Donnie Adair; and her parents, V.L. and Ruby Adair.

Darlene is survived by her son, Todd Roberts (Linda); grandsons, Chad and Chase Roberts; her twin sister, Arlene Shafer; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas

Memorial funds may be made to the Los Fresnos Church of Christ.
