Concepcion Ybarra Garcia

Concepcion Ybarra Garcia, 82, peacefully passed from this life on August 9, 2018 at her home in Los Fresnos, Texas.  She was born to Mauricio Ybarra and Margarita Alvarado Ybarra on January 26, 1936 in Jarrell, Texas.

Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family who loved and cherished her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mauricio and Margarita Ybarra; her husband, Guillermo Garcia; sons, Guillermo Garcia, Jr. and Alfonso Garcia; grandchildren, Rigoberto Zamora, Jr. and Elizabeth Lopez; great-grandson, Jacob Salazar; brothers, Jesus Ybarra, Mauricio Ybarra, Jr., Juan Ybarra, Felimon Ybarra, and Marcos Ybarra; stepbrothers, Faustino Ybarra, Inez Ybarra, Luis Ybarra; sisters, Santos Y. Morales and Luisa Y. Rodriguez; stepsister, Petra Y. Mercado.

Left to treasure her memory are her children, Emilia (Jose) Flores, Noemi G. Lopez, Leticia (Ricardo) Benavides, Vinicio (Laura) Garcia, Irma (Rigo) Zamora, Sylvia (Larry) Escalante, Efrain (Rosalva) Garcia, Ambrocio (Marie) Garcia, Leopoldo (Pricilla) Garcia, Daniel Villagomez, and Antonio Garcia; fifty-five grandchildren; seventy-six great-grandchildren; and, numerous other relatives and countless lifelong friends.

The Garcia family will be receiving friends and relatives on Sunday, August 12 and Monday, August 13, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at San Benito Funeral Home.  There will be a Recitation of the Holy Rosary on Monday at 7:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Msgr. Pedro Briseño, Celebrant.  Following the funeral mass, Concepcion will be laid to rest at Los Cuates Cemetery.

Honored to serve as active pallbearers are Joey Flores, Daniel Escalante, Joaquin Escalante, Omar Garcia, Jessie Garcia, Eloy Garcia, Roly Garcia, and Ricardo Benavides, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers will be her sons Vinicio Garcia, Efrain Garcia, Ambrocio Garcia, Leopoldo Garcia, Daniel Villagomez, and Antonio Garcia
