Los Fresnos, TX- Cliffton Edward Cruz, 31, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Harlingen.
Cliffton graduated from Los Fresnos High School, where his was a member of the Los Fresnos 4-H Alumni, Los Fresnos FFA, and Los Fresnos Band Boosters; he enjoyed farming, attending the livestock shows, word finds, and watching the Texas A&M Aggies and Houston Texans.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Courtney Cruz; his paternal grandfather, Juan B. Cruz; and his maternal grandfather, Joe Bustamante.
Cliffton is survived by his parents, Eddie Cruz and Blondie Cruz; his brothers and sisters, Cody Cruz, Casey Cruz, Cameron Cruz, and Caitlynn Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M with the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 P.M. at San Benito Funeral Home.
The funeral precession will depart San Benito Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 9:15 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Interment will follow at Atkinson Cemetery in La Leona, TX.
