Christina Marie Agado, 22, passed away on Sunday July 6, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen due to an auto pedestrian accident.
Christina was a 2004 graduate of La Feria High School and was currently attending UTB majoring in nursing. She was employed at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen as a CNA.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Armando Perez.
Christina is survived by her parents, Ricardo and Melinda Agado; sister, Amanda (Ramsey) Barrera; and brother, Ricardo Agado Jr; paternal grandparents, Manuel and Lupita Agado; and maternal grandmother, Sylvia Schroeder. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008 at San Benito Funeral Home with a rosary at 7pm.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 10 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harlingen. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Honored to be pallbearers will be her uncles, Manuel Agado Jr, Carlos Agado, Diego Agado, Edward Perez, Lonnie Garcia and Daniel Ramos.
The Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Christina’s co-workers, nurses and doctors and Valley Baptist Medical Center, especially the NICU staff. We would also like to thank all the spiritual help that was offered during our time of need.
She will forever be loved and missed by all those who knew her.
