Dateline: Harlingen: Celia H. Sandin Beamer, passed away at her residence in Harlingen on Tuesday, March 11, 2008.

She was born October 15, 1911 in Cleveland, OH to Mary Wisnieske Panek and Konstantine Panek.  The eldest of nine siblings, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Carl, Henry, Ted, Tom, Daniel, John and Edward; sisters, Betty Myers and Lee Lesh; and her two husbands, John Arthur Sandin and James Beamer.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nphews.

She was a graduate nurse from St. John's Hospital in Cleveland, OH , was very involved in Esperanto and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Harlingen.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the family present from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.

Graveside services only will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008, 11:00 AM, at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito with the Rev. Bill Reagan officiating.

A special thank you to the Sandi Jo Funk Hospice and to the caregivers who gave such excellent care.
