Carleton Ross "Jiggs" Alexander was born on February 10, I934 to the late George Ross and Ethel Harris Alexander on the family ranch near Tokio, Texas.
At one time, he attended the two-room schoolhouse where his mother taught. In 1956, he was inducted into the U.S. Army and was stationed near Stuttgart, Germany.
In his working life, Carleton launched many and varied enterprises in ranching, agriculture, and construction trade.
A longtime resident of Los Fresnos, he was a member of Hope Harbor Laguna Vista. When asked recently to name his heroes, Carleton replied, “I’d have to say David Jeremiah and anyone who serves the Lord Jesus.”
Carleton is survived by his son, Carleton Blythe Alexander; grandsons, Isaiah, Titus, and Christian; stepson, Joseph Costa; and step-grandchildren, Joseph, Jennifer, Lindsay, and Christopher.
