Billy Reynolds, 77, passed away October 1, 2015 at Harlingen Medical Center.
Billy was born January 30, 1938 in Raymondville, Texas to Raymond E. Reynolds and Ora Lou Carlton Reynolds. He attended and graduated from Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School.  Billy served his country with the U.S. Navy as an SKG3 from 1956 to 1958 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  He married Connie S. Tomberlin on June 1986. Other than his Navy duty, Billy grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.  He was the manager of the propane department of Tide Products for many years.  When the company was sold, he transferred his talents to Bentsen Properties where he became an important asset to Don Bentsen.  He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed all the time he spent with his hunting buddies. He also enjoyed fishing and drawing plans and surveys.  Billy was a very caring man and enjoyed his wife’s very large family.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and he will miss Saturday College Football games and Sunday NFL.
Billy is survived by his wife Connie Tomberlin Reynolds of Arroyo city/Rio Hondo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ora Reynolds of McAllen, Texas in 1955; his father Raymond E. Reynolds of Edinburg, Texas in 1982; his brothers Leon E. Reynolds of San Juan, Texas in 1988 and Raymond O. Reynolds of Harlingen, Texas in 2012; and his sister Glenna Reynolds of Bowker, Colorado in 2014.
A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 710 Ed Carey Dr., Harlingen, Texas 78550.
