Billie Jean Wilson

Billie Jean Wilson, 88, peacefully passed from this life Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in Harlingen, Texas. She was born September 30, 1934 to the late Billie W. and Ucola Seely Wilson in Teague, Texas.

For twenty-two years, Billie joyfully volunteered at Valley Baptist Medical Center, serving patients and their families. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching her beloved Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys play.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Left to treasure Billie’s memory are her cousin, Nancy Driver; her friends, Judy Reynolds, Eloisa Jaime, Jessie Hill, and Shirley Meyer; and a host of loving coworkers and friends at Valley Baptist Medical Center, at Valley View Assisted Living Center, and at the First United Methodist Church of San Benito.

Special thanks to the caring nurses, physicians, and staff at Valley Baptist Medical Center ER, Comprehensive Medical Unit, Neuro Medical Surgical Unit, and Surgical ICU, at Solara Specialty Hospital, and at Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Billie’s sweet smile and kind heart brought joy to all who knew her.  She will be greatly missed.
