Billie Jeannie Gray, 70, passed away on May 19, 2012 at her residence.
Billie was born July 22, 1941 in Harlingen, Texas to William “Bill” J. and Kizzie Curry Gray. She was employed by Gray Farms as a bookkeeper from 1965 to 1997. Billie was a member of Parkdale Baptist Church in Harlingen where she was active until she was not able to attend. Billie enjoyed hunting, sports and coaching little league softball.
She is survived by her brother and sisters, Rosemary Strong of Harlingen, Harold Gray of Harlingen and Betty Eilers of Kingsburg, TX; nephews, Carl Eilers and Joe David Kilbourn; nieces, Martie Gray, Tammy McCants, Cindy Stephens; and many grand nieces and nephews.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Melvin Eilers, sister-in-law Cheryl Card Gray.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, 10:00 a.m., at Harlingen-Combes Cemetery with Rev. Steve Wiest officiating.
