Beverly Jane Leimon, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 16, 2009.
Beverly was born on July 16, 1923 in Lebanon, Ohio to Raymond and Eva Gage. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she at the age of 12 met her future husband, John. They married on April 26, 1945. Beverly came to the Valley with her family in April 1952. She worked at Sears in Harlingen, Texas for 12 years. After leaving Sears, she began her career as a realtor at Blaylock Realty and obtained her Broker’s License while working there.
Beverly was active at her church as a past president of St. Ann’s Society at St. Anthony Church. She loved gardening, golf, sewing and playing cards.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John; three sons, Daniel (Rebecca), Thomas (Carol) and Patrick; one daughter, Kelly (Paul) Coffey; five grandchildren, John R. Leimon, Michael L. Leimon, Bryan Enloe, Amanda Hill and Amber Spain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elizabeth, Joyce, Jackie, and Mildred.
Graveside services will be held at the Mont Meta Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Father Alphonsus McHugh officiating.
