Betty Jane “BJ’ Baerlin, 86, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
BJ was born November 14, 1924 in Bryan, Ohio to Walter and Alice Albright. She graduated from Bryan High School in Bryan, Ohio.
BJ enjoyed traveling, sewing and playing bingo. She was active with the HOST program in Harlingen teaching reading classes. She was also a member of the Red Hats Club and attended St. Paul Lutheran Church.
BJ is survived by two sons and two daughter-in-laws all from Ohio, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Baerlin in 1998 and Gene Muller in 2007.
Visitation hours will be from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Graveside services only will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park, 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice Health Care, 2501 Paredes Line Rd., Ste. B-9, Brownsville, TX 78526.
