Betty Jean Schwab, 83, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in her hometown, Harlingen.
Betty is survived by her sons, Robert and Rick Schwab, daughter, Dru Ann Baczewski and grandsons, Cody and Tyler Baczewski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Schwab, son, Darris Schwab and daughter-in-law, Leslie Schwab.
Betty had a love for life and nature and her backyard was a reflection of that love by the pool, gardens, fish pond, birds and the tranquil palm landscaping.
Special thanks to Dr. Diana Lozano for her years of caring for Betty and an EXTRA special thank you to her son, Rick, her loving caretaker.
Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the family present from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, February 18, 2015 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 9:30 AM, Friday, February 19, 2016 with the Rev. J.C. Milligan officiating. Private family entombment to follow at a later date.
