Betty Joyce Martin

Betty Joyce Martin born May 20, 1929 to Samuel F. and Gladys Spruill. She passed away February 10, 2021.

Betty lived her life in service to her God, her friends and family.  She married the love of her life Clyde J. Martin on June 10, 1950.  Betty served her Lord teaching GA’s (Girls in Action), Sunday School, teaching English as a second language in Senegal, Africa, serving on the Calvary Christian School Board, and serving as a prayer warrior to many many friends and loved ones.

Betty had a successful career working for Blue Cross & Blue Shield for over 20 years as district secretary.  After retiring, Betty enjoyed traveling in the states abroad.

She is survived by her daughter Cherie Martin and her husband Joe Lewis, two grandsons Nicholas and Martin Nolte, and two great granddaughters Abigail and Avalyn Nolte.

A private graveside service was held on February 13, 2021 at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
