Bettie L. Hollon, 86, passed away on June 12, 2013 at Harlingen Medical Center.
She was raised in Harlingen and was a graduate of Harlingen High School. She along with her husband, Robert Ray, owned a Ford Dealership in Mercedes for over 25 years.
Her children, Stephen (Jill), Ted (Jane) and James lost their mother and friend; and the world lost a great person. She is survived by six grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Lee, Lauren, Richard, Rachel and Colter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert Ray Hollon
Visitation will be held at Mont Meta Memorial Park on Friday, June 14, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a graveside service to begin at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Payne of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to a charity of your choice.
