San Benito, TX- Benito Sanchez Lucio, 81, entered into eternal life on February 24, 2014 in Harlingen, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents Juan Lucio and Agustina Sanchez Lucio, his sister Marcela Lucio Mendiola, his brothers Pedro Lucio and Jose Lucio.
He is survived by his wife Bernardina Lucio, his children Benito Lucio Jr., Anna Lucio Cruz, Ruben (Irene) Lucio, Miguel (Afsana) Lucio, Yolanda (Phillip) Lucio Serna, Belinda (Caesar) Lucio Morales, Cynthia (Leo) Lucio Puente; his siblings, Enrique Lucio, Juan Lucio, Julian Lucio and Antonia Lucio Nino, 20 grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at San Benito Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 12 noon Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Benito Rendon Jr., Adrian Puente, Daniel Cruz, Marcus Cruz, Ruben Lucio, Miguel Lucio and Benito Lucio Jr.
